A senior police constable is found murdered at the police station during a brief power cut. Investigating officer Arjun takes the task of unmasking the killer from a handful of suspects including half a dozen cops and a number of outsiders who are there for various reasons.

The film starts in a village in Mandya where two youngsters Venkatesha and Sathish, who have failed their pre-degree courses seven times, create problems. Nandini, an ultra-modern girl comes to the village and attracts Venkatesha, who is prepared to do anything for pleasing the girl. Both Venkatesha and Sathish follow Nandini to Mysore, where she is pursuing studies. A strict principal of the college humiliates Nandini when she crosses the limits. Meanwhile, the principal gets murdered and a police officer suspects Venkatesha and Nandini to be behind this murder. There is a lot of confusion when it is revealed that Nandini is the daughter of a Dubai-based don, who is trying to kill a Mangalore-based don. What happens in the end is revealed in an interesting climax.

Forget EastEnders, as pioneers of working class chic the early Pulp videos epitomise Shoreditch living, from cramped rooms to charity shop glam; while the later videos, with bigger budgets, add to Pulp's classic kitsch values. The most inspired of the 15 on offer here has to be "The Bad Cover Version", which appears to assemble the cast of Stars in their Eyes. 　　Beyond the videos and live performances are selections of home movies. Included are the documentaries "Do You Remember the First Time", focusing on losing your virginity, and "This is Hardcore" which, unsurprisingly, centres on the merits of porn and freedom. "TV Madness" is a beautiful montage of crazy TV promotions that shows the price of fame is appearing on Going Live. "Home Movies" offers a look at the real lives of Pulp; "Sheffield Bands" offers a glimpse at Pulp before they were famous while "Catfield" is possibly be the most bizarre children's programme on the planet. Using inspired editing techniques and sceneography, it's clear this all comes from the minds of Jarvis and co, a band who simply refuse to conform to normal stereotypes, instead making up their own rules as they go along. This short, animated dramedy is inspired by menstruation and aimed at adults. Using contemporary language and a comical perspective, the film delves into adolescence, gender politics, sexuality, motherhood and more. The washed-out pastel colour palette used throughout the film, inspired by menstrual-product brochures and adverts, acts as a narrative tool.
